The advent of fiber-optics and micro-cameras has all but eliminated the long incision, replacing it with tiny, half-inch incisions totally hidden in the hairline. The brow can be accurately repositioned and secured with dissolving "fixers" (sutures), and an upper/mid-facelift can be included in the procedure, with no visible incisions. This is a simple, natural, and extremely effective lift that rejuvenates the brow and upper face, including the cheekbone area. It is very useful for younger patients whose upper face is sagging prematurely. Healing time is very short -- about four to five days -- and the operation usually takes about forty-five minutes.
