What Is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic (long-term) disease that affects the skin and sometimes the eyes. The disorder is characterized by redness, pimples, and, in advanced stages, thickened skin. Rosacea usually affects the face; other parts of the upper body are only rarely involved.

Rosacea to some degree is very prevalent especially in fair skinned individuals, and its intensity can vary with flair ups accompanied by pimples and cysts. Not all dermatologists agree in the exact reason why some people are affected more significantly than others but all sufferers agree that the condition when triggered can be very difficult to hide and uncomfortable.

The good news is there is a successful protocol which addresses both prevention and treatment from mild to severe.

What can you do to treat the outbreaks when they occur? There is a general consensus of opinion that Intense Pulsed Light treatments IPL are very effective and safe for relieving the redness and destroying the bacteria carrying skin parasites which cause the inflammatory response. The IPL is combined with topical cleansers, sustained release antibiotics and occasionally retinoids. This is a very effective means of bringing back normal skin color and tone.

There is a cost effective way to treat Roseacea with minimal discomfort or lifestyle compromise.
